Comments about Eureka Eureka N!ergy 1210 Tent:

Just received this tent. Set it up at home to check it out. First impressions:

1) Good Quality Tent. Big enough for our family of four plus occassional guests!
2) Mesh Vents and Windows create a 360-degree ventilation on a hot day.
3) 12V Power Is awesome. Was able to use my DieHard jumpstarter with a 12-volt socket to power the baby up!
4) The offset doors are awesome. Create two rooms with separate entrance!
5) It took us less than 5 minutes to put the tent up! 5 minutes for the fly! And probably 5 minutes for the stakes and guy lines. 15 minutes to setup the tent! You can't get any faster for something this big.
6) Room enough for two queen size air mattress and with plenty of rooms for gears and bags.
7) Love the overhang at each of the two doors.
8) Would like to have a entrance mat each door, but a small tarp will serve the purpose.
9) A vestibule would be nice, but that would add to the size of the tent.

Stay away from the Eureka floor savers! Buy a heavy duty tarp! One of the thing we looked for in our new tent was a standard dimension. 12x10 is a standard dimension and so Tarp will be easy to find.

Comments about Eureka Eureka N!ergy 1210 Tent:

This tent sets up in 15 to 20 minutes. I have used it twice and both times the set up gets easier. Once set up the tent looks great and is very sturdy. The last trip we had very high wind gusts and it faired very well. Only two issues with it, the tent's floor is very thin - so make sure you buy a tarp, and night reading light which is a Eureka accessory is terrible - save your money. All else is great.

Comments about Eureka Eureka N!ergy 1210 Tent:

THE 12V POWER OUTLETS WORKED GREAT FOR THE KIDS. RAN DVD'S, DS'S, LIGHTS AND FANS. ANY 12V BATTERY PACK WORKS WITH THE TENT. ROOM FOR 4 AND GEAR DIVIDER MAKES IT GOOD FOR KIDS ALSO. SMALL ENOUGH TO SET UP EASILY, LOVE THIS TENT!

I prefer to use a what you can carry approach to camping, have so for 30+ years. But with two young Cub Scouts and Mom along, car camping is in my future. Brought the 1210 to Grand Isle Lousisiana on it's maiden voyage, 25 knot winds gusting to 40 and the massive tent poles maintained their composure all weekend long. What a relief, mom is NOT a camper.

Comments about Eureka Eureka N!ergy 1210 Tent:

I normaly hike or canoe with just a pack on my back, but since my oldest son joined the Cub Scouts I have begun to amass larger and comfort driven outdoor appliances. This past weekend we went to Grand Isle Lousisiana with the Scouts for 3 days and two night fishing trip hosted by the USCG. My wife and youngest son(a pre-schooler) came along. This is only the second time my wife has come outdoors with me as the first time we went temps dropped below 19 drgrees with 35 knot winds. When we reached the end of La 1 temps were 45 degrees with a 25 knot wind, this alarmed me as she may be misereable. But this heavy tent stood up to everything the Gulf threw at it all night. This is truly a heavy duty comfortable tent with, I can't beleive I'm saying this, 12 volt electrical service.
