Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1512 Tent:

My wife and I usually camp on vacation and stay at least 1 week sometimes 2. We are 60 and 62 years of age and love to camp at a beach front campground in S. Carolina where it can get windy. We purchased the tent sight unscene [...] We set it up in our field under a tree for a trial campout with the grandkids. It took us about 45 minutes to get it up. I am sure it will take less time the next time. The poles that support the roof and sides are aleast twice as large as the poles in our old tent that we used for about 10 years. It rained one day very hard with very high wind and hale. The back of the tent blew down and there was only about 2 quarts of water in the tent. The water was very easy to get out due to design of the doors and it took me about 10 minutes to get everything back up. I am impressed that the tent wasn't destroyed as I am sure our old one would have been. There are a lot of big windows for air flow and a small sky lite that unzips if wanted. The sturdiness of the poles is what makes it a little heavy but it's worth it. The only draw back are the tent stakes, just buy better ones and the guy strings need some inprovement. The tension holder want to slide down so I clamped clothspins under it and it seemed to work pretty well. I am sure that it will survive any winds above 30 or 35 mph. as the wind that blew it down were at least 50 or better with hale.

Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1512 Tent:

Very roomy tent. Very easy to set up for it's size. The material on the bottom of the tent seems a bit flimsy. We'll put a tarp under it for protection. Stakes are flimsy, so buy some sturdy ones. The poles are heavy, but sturdy. Minimal storage pockets inside the tent for loose articles, suggest buying additional storage pockets to hang from the window hooks.

Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1512 Tent:

We bought this tent to provide better weatherproof then our other tent. We used another tent in good weather, but knew it was not the best for rain. We used this tent in the Sierras last week and it did rain quite a bit. The tent stayed completely dry, even when some water pooled beneath the tent between it and the ground cloth. We brought and pitched our older tent for additional people on the trip, and it proved right by leaking alot. Thought and quality work went into making this tent, A+ for Eureka!

Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1512 Tent:

So far this tent has made it through thunderstorms with high winds and a whole day of light to heavy rain. We did not get one drop of water on us or our stuff.
It is very spacious my family of 5 fit in here no problem and still had half of the tent for sitting in or the kids to play.
Setup in about 25 min with me and my husband. The tent is heavy for me to carry but my husband carries it with no problems. I love this tent!
