Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1312 Family Tent:

This tent was pretty easy to put up.. It took my husband and I about 20 minutes.. It is very spacious. We had 2 queen size beds, 2 stand up fans, a 2x4 ft table and still was comfortable..Cant wait for our next trip in a couple of months. I can't say anything bad about this tent.. You need to purchase this tent..

Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1312 Family Tent:

After receiving the Eureka Family tent, we went camping for 10 days in the Olympic mountains (Rain Forest) in Washington State. It rained everyday and was quite windy at times. I would guess the gusts were up to 40 to 45 mph. The tent held up nicely, kept us all dry and made the 10 days of rain a pleasantly nice camping trip.

Also, it is very simple to set-up. About 20 minutes from start to finish.

Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1312 Family Tent:

Difficult to set up in wind - but what tent isn't. It would have been helpful to read all the directions first instead of starting with step 1 as the back of the page had different instructions for wind. duh! Next time we'll be smarter.

Tent was spacious.

Need to buy a larger tarp for underneath it then the one we have - or possibly overlap 2 since I haven't come across a tarp in the right size.

Also need better stakes.

Comments about Eureka Eureka Copper Canyon 1312 Family Tent:

Thanks for your follow up. It is nice to know that you care how we like your product. It is winter here in Oregon and camping season is well behind us. This tent was purchased as a Christmas Present to ourselves and will get it's first use next Summer, most likely at West Yellowstone, where we are planning to fly in and camp. You heard right...I fly my own plane, and the tent goes with us on our flying camp-outs. There are many aircraft only campgrounds around the country with many of them in the West and especially the Rocky Mountains. West Yellowstone is one of those where you can fly in....and use a "For Pilots Only" campground that is within about 100 ft. or so of the airplane. With prior notice, rental cars are available.I wore out the tent that I used for years and was unable to find another like it. Last Summer I purchased a tent [...] but it turned out to be too bulky and too heavy. Bulk and weight are critical in an aircraft. The Copper Canyon 1312 seems to fit the bill in those respects. One other requirement that I have is ease of set-up. We will find that out next Summer when I set it up at home prior to our first camping trip with it.At that point I will get it wet to make sure it will handle rain well.As I said..most of our Camping is in the Rockies and rain is always a possibility and often occurs. Most of the tents that I have owned require some sort of "tensioning" of the rain fly to keep them from sagging when wet and trapping water. I need to find that out about the Eureka tent before we go camping...perhaps you already have that figured out....we will see.
