Comments about Coleman Coleman Elite WeatherMaster 6, 17 x 9 ft. Six-Person, 2-Room Tent:
After doing a lot of research and reading and rereading reviews, I bought this tent.It was between this and the Eureka Copper Canyon 1610. I wentwith the Coleman because the fly covered the entire tent.[...]Set up took me and my 9 year old daughter about 45 minutes. (Not bad for a short middle aged lady and her kid.)The space is good. I would say sleeps 4 comfortably with gear or 5 with less gear. 6 would be a stretch. I'm short and can walk around no problem . . my husband is about 5'10" and he could stand in the middle of it.The first night we slept without the fly and you could see the stars and it was really really nice. (Good ventilation)I did put the fly on it and then took my hose and sprayed it down and the back 2 windows were a bit leaky. I seam sealed it and it is good to go. (When I hosed it down, I may have needed to pull the fly a little more taut.)The screened in porch adds a nice amount of space.I love the door . . so much better than stooping every time you need to go in and out.The light fixture is a good feature.I did not install the window rollers . . I was afraid it would be something my kids would mess with and either break or cut their hands on.We are very happy with this tent and can't wait to use it more next summer.
