so my classmate and I camped out on Mt. Hood in Oregon last weekend. It was nasty cold with 6" of snow around us. (I did sleep in some sweat pants and a NF fleece) not once did I get cold! It had to have gotten well below 0deg out. Great bag. I am ordering one right now! Heck for the price... Whoop whoop!

I took this bag and another brand on a winter campout to compare them. They are both rated for 0 degrees. The North Face really is a zero degree bag, I was warm in TNF bag and froze in the other bag the next night. Both nights the temp got down to 15 degrees. I started out dressed the same on both nights until I got cold in the other bag. I noticed TNF bag dries fast if it has codensation on it. This North Face bag is definately worth the money.

Having never owned a zero-degree bag before, I am happy with my purchase. I use a light liner with this bag, one that is supposed to increase the warmth factor by 8F I believe.
I have used this bag in several consecutive sub 30F nights and never got cold. I wore a typical winter hat and never even had to use the hood on this thing (actually, I did use the hood to hold my camp pillow in place). I never got the bag wet, so I cannot review its drying capability.
The bag does not compress to be extremely small, but I have seen much more expensive 0F bags that compress to about the same size.
Overall, very satisfied customer. Just know that a bag like this is comfortable down to 25-30F, and that 0F is quite an extreme condition to use this bag in (I'm guessing).
