I purchased the larger bag because I like to have extra room. This bag provides plenty of chest and leg room, is light enough to pack for extended trips. The added size and weight is worth it to me because being comfortable while sleeping is too important to me. By using a compression bag I am able to get the smaller than listed on the size chart. At 5'10" and 190 lbs, this bag is perfect.
