Comments about North Face The North Face Terra 40 Backpack:

Pack worked very well on a two day trip in the
golden trout wilderness. Held all of my gear very
well (tent,fishing rod,clothing,food,ect.) Outer
compression straps held tent poles and fishing
rod with style. Shoulder straps and lumbar pad
were very comfortable. Zippers and material are
very good quality. Sleeping bag compartment needs
to be larger. I had some difficulty getting my
synthetic bag into this area of the pack. As a whole the pack is well worth the price (which isn't much). I'm very content with my purchase.

Good fit and simple to use. Minimal straps kept the backpack neat and organized. Shoulder straps provided good padding, although even these couldn't tame a heavy backpack.
