I bought 3 packs for my grandchildren The pack is great, but the hydration system leaks at the fill area even though the lid is screwed in correctly and the drinking tube is glued on at the base of the bag and does not seem very sturdy. I would not use them, and will have to purchase different hydration bags before they can use them.

My son and daughter love their packs. Just big enough to carry some essentials. Kids will bite through the bite valve, but you can replace them with Nalgene replacement sheaths (part #2353-0012) 2/$4.00. Not a bad deal.

This pack is a great size for my 5 year old son. It fits nice and snug with the waist and chest belt and he loves it. He loves the hydration pack and there is still enough room left in the backpack for him to bring a toy or book, a jacket and his own snacks. We are switching from a bike trailer to a tag along tandem and we won't have all the room we used to have so this pack will come in handy! Also, the quality is great and the pack itself is VERY light weight. We are planning on using it for Kindergarten without the hydration pack in the fall when school starts. We bought the orange/charcoal and the color is nice for a boy or girl...but the price was even better! Paid only [$] here at sunny sports! We are impressed! Thank you!
