Good for use as hiking pack. Also using as carry-on for air travel. Slighly over-size, but no hassles from airlines yet. Probably the biggest pack for carry-on that you don't have to worry about having rejected at the gate.

Great pack and perfect size. The only con I have is the zippered side pockets. A 1 liter nalgene fits but stresses the zipper if the main compartment is stuffed.

I love this bag!! It's big and holds everything I need. I use it for school for all of my books and can carry about 60 lbs of books pretty comfortably and with tons of support. I also like that you can adjust the frame and remove it. I just took it on an airplane and used it for my carry-on and took out the frame and it still worked great! I love it!!
