Although I have not used this yet it appears to fit my needs for extended hikes. It was easy to adj the pack and the price for this pack you couldn't beat.

Perfect for my son to use on Boy Scout outings. It's easy for him to load and adjust himself. We purchased and returned another pack before settling on this one. It's a large enough pack for a week of summer camp or a weekend of winter camping with bulky clothes.

Large Pack. Comfortable for long trips. The adjusting frame is perfect to get fit just right.
Sleeping bag must be compressed to use internal compartment. I do wish Kelty would use a better zipper. I would buy this pack again because it is a great value.
