Comments about High Sierra High Sierra Transport 3-in-1 Backpack (TR101):

Great backpack, Very Stylish, can accommodate many items, lots of adjustments, removable day pack is great, it is a BIG pack however and High Sierra does have smaller ones but I like this one because I travel with only carry on luggage so I need the space. If you're not in great physical shape consider getting a similar item with wheels. I had one of those prior to this one

This bag was purchased so that I wouldn't have to check a bag at the airport. Although I haven't used it for air travel yet I have used it for short weekend road trips and it is a great pack and i'm surprised at how much I can actually fit into it!

Comments about High Sierra High Sierra Transport 3-in-1 Backpack (TR101):

When I first received this backpack, I was immediately impressed. While using it, I was wowed by the level of thought that went into its design. Here are some of the highlights:

1. Roomy main pack area. I used this bag on a recent trip through the Middle East. I found that I could comfortably fit about five days worth of clothing (including a spare set of shoes) within the main pack. There is also a set of dual straps within the pack to secure your clothing in place.

2. Developed with travel in mind. The backpack itself has a zip on back cover that hides the straps for when I wanted to check the main pack in for a flight. When in backpack mode, the cover folds into a convenient pouch at the bottom of the bag. It has also two very durable grips (one on the top and one on the side) for carrying the bag when the straps are covered.

3. Ingenious day pack. The day pack zips off and it is a pretty good size itself. I was able to fit toiletries and some additional clothing items in the main part of the day pack while traveling from place to place. I was also able to fit anything I would need for the day in the pack when I was settled into an area and wanted to do some exploring. The front pouch of the day pack has a nice organizer feature and easily fit several of my travel essentials. There is a pouch on the top of the bag in which was large enough to hold my MP3 player, digital camera and cell phone.

4. Sturdy seams. The seams seem pretty reinforced and I never saw any signs of strain, even when I had it packed to the max.

5. Easy to use straps. All of the straps were easy to use and figure out. Definitely user friendly, unlike some other packs.

6. Carry on size. The day pack on its own is easily carried on. Most flights let me carry on the complete pack as well. When I unzipped the main pack from the day pack, it fit easily into an overhead storage bin. I was able to fit the day pack comfortably under the seat in front of my while on a flight.

Overall, I was very happy with this purchase. I will definitely continue to use it on my international travels.

Comments about High Sierra High Sierra Transport 3-in-1 Backpack (TR101):

It was very handy to zip apart and store the large part of the bag in the overhead compartment of the airplane, the rest went comfortably under the seat. Zipped back together while waiting for the door to open.
