Forget hiking, although this one is probably fine for that. This light little beauty with sturdy extention handle is the perfect size for an airline carry-on and comes with wheels. And when the commuter plane makes you check your carry-on at the door, zip off the daypack where you stored all your tickets, snacks, valuables etc. and climb aboard.
