Comments about Gregory Gregory Z 35 Pack:

First off I own many packs from Black Diamond to Ospreys and I have found the line of Gregory to be more comfortable on the long hual than any of the other packs I have used over the years. This review is for the Gregory Z35 which I have bought to use on Winter Hikes such as Mt. Washington and Mt. Marcy day hikes. This pack holds everything I need for a good long winter day hike such as down sleeping bag(emergency use) water and meals as well as my tools and poles. The suspension is outstanding as in all Gregory's and the ease of loading is great, you can access the inside of the pack from the front and not have to worry about undoing the top flap. Like I said I bought this for the winter but have used it twice on day hikes and feel this is going to get a lot more use year round.
