I bought this pack(on sale) as a day pack for winter hiking, snowshoeing, and general everyday use. The suspension is great, but might be a bit warm in the summer. Loading gear on this pack is easy, and makes sense. Might also be a good pack for climbing. I love the full length zipper: good idea!

This pack is also very water resistant, and seems to be very tough.

One great design for easy access. Quality construction and thought out design. Breathes well except for the Dog Days of Summer. My Z-35R is designed to breath better for humid summer days. I strongly recommend the Torre 33 as one versitle backpack. Can be sinched down for light loads and expanded for overnight and weekend treks.
