My wife and I each purchased an older version of this model after a less-than memorable experience in the heat of the desert areas while on a motorcycle tour last Labor Day weekend. The use of a hydration pack like these allows us to take in enough fluids between fuel stops in temperatures up to 110F. Packing these bags with a 50-50 mixture of ice and cold water will give you two to three hours before you're looking for more. Highly recommended!
