Comments about Camelbak Camelbak Alpine Explorer 100 oz. Hydration Pack - 2010 Model:
I spent days researching which camelbak i wanted, because of the size of the purchase i wanted the one fitted best for my needs, and by that i mean the biggest. The 2010 Alpine explorer is the biggest for its cost with way more room in it than i need. [...] i will use Sunnysports again

The pack fits great on the back and is so comfortable I forget I'm wearing a pack at all! The media and sunglass pockets work really well with my ipod. Tons of storage room, yet with the ability to cinch the pack up when it is emptier. This keeps the pack close to your body and comfortable. Great pack for any day, or couple day, adventure! Just bought a second pack for my father.

I use this bag for day hiking and I love it! I has lots of space and extra pockets for gear and extras. It has a large water tank but it is still super light weight, and really comfortable to wear.

Comments about Camelbak Camelbak Alpine Explorer 100 oz. Hydration Pack - 2010 Model:
This pack is awesome for day hikes and as a minimalist like myself works real well for extended hikes. It has a lot of room but the bladder when full will bulge inward and take some room. but the design is great the suspension is great and you can really carry some wight without problems. If all if you need is a day pack this is a good bet and the feature of a 3 liter bladder built in is a real plus( about 8 pounds roughly with just a full bladder). If you are a minimalist to the point where you don't need a tent and such it also works nicely for extend hikes, I usually remove the bladder and pick up water on the trail.
