For a synthetic this performs fairly well. Especially given the alternatives of what synthetics tend to smell like even after half a day of use. I would rate the anti-microbial function below that of merino but for a mid/base layer that wicks, dries quicker than merino and is easier to care for this is currently as good as it gets. As for fit, the thumb loops are rather tiny and the sleeve in relation to the torso girth is a bit short. Though to be fair I have a high "ape index" with a 36-37" sleeve and 40" chest. The good news is the material stretches well. Overall a versatile and well designed mid/base layer constructed with a good fabric.
