I recently wore this on a camping and hiking trip to the coast of Washington State on New Years. Temps were freezing once the sun went down, and though I was worried this coat might be too lightweight, I was very comfortable wearing just an expedition weight top underneath. The stuff sack is a nice extra, and the pockets are well-placed. My new favorite insulating jacket!
