These North Face Vind II are pretty hard to find. This is my 2nd pair and I still wear my 1st pair often. I hike the hills of NW Missouri which brings rock,mud,creeks and thorns! These have not only held up for over 2 years... they still look good after a bath! Advise: Spray leather with 5-6 coats of waterproof/protect b/f breaking in, then a few times after you get them loose. Have to say... if Sunny had another pair of 11.5 's they would be in my closet for a back-up pair!
