I've used this as a 3rd layer ski shell. I use it on multi day hikes. I also wear it casually around town on rainy or windy days.
I love to be able to adjust the ventilation with the pit zips. I Like to be able to store away the hood on windy days and keep the hood at bay, and pull it out on rainy days. I love that it is actually 1oz lighter than Marmot Minimalist jacket. Which makes this even more minimalist !
If I could have one thing, it would be a little more flex in the jacket material, but it is a hard shell and not a soft shell.
A great little piece of gear.
