A polyurethane membrane is laminated between two layers of bonded four-way stretch polyester and treated with a super-DWR, resulting in a fabric with excellent stretch and waterproof protection, plus more breathability than regular storm shells. Trinity was developed with comfort in mind the stretch allows for terrific range of motion regardless of the activity, and the waterproof protection keeps you warm and dry whatever the weather. Testing on the Trinity fabric indicates a waterproof level of 10,000mm and a breathability level of 10,000 g/m²/24 hours.

One of the better jackets on the market. A truly great product. The Gauntlet is made of a slightly stretchy material that keeps it light and keeps you warm. It can also withstand abuse from weather and tree branches. The removable hood, pit zips, and fleece warmed hand pockets are awesome bonuses. This jacket is great for hiking/outdoors or for wearing around town. The material is warmer than one would think. This jacket is better than Marmot, TNF, and REI brands, especially for the price.
