I bought this item for my 3 year old who, although he loves the pool, is a little apprehensive of learning to swim on his own. This item was super easy to put on and the first time he used it, he was swimming on his own from one end of the pool to the other! It provides perfect support to keep him above water but is lightweight & comfortable. I 100% recommend this product!
