I bought the Leki Diva for my wife who is a casual day hiker. But, I use my Leki Super Makalu for extensive multi-day backpacks. Leki offers strong trekking poles for casual day hiking and for extended backpacks. The strap release/adjustment has been greatly improved. While others have complained about new locking mechanism slipping, I have experienced that to some extent, but it has not really been a detriment.
