1st set of poles -- don't know how I hiked before without them! Easy to use, light -- a good, basic pole to give you support along steep, narrow trails.

The minute you don't have to take your gloves off to fiddle with the poles you'll be hooked. The Flick Locks are so easy to use, adjustments can be made on the go. No need to stop and fiddle with the tensioning adjustments and mechanisms. The time factor too that these will save you on limited daylight hrs during Winter trips is such a plus that I for one would never choose a different pole than these.

I bought to use hiking this summer in the Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier and I can't wait to use them. They will help me give a leg up when hiking with my teenager.
