Bought two pair (one pair for my son, one pair for me) for a trip to Glacier Nat'l. Park, July, 2010. I weigh 250 lbs. and these trekking poles performed flawlessly. Hiked almost 32 miles and couldn't have done it without these trekking poles. They never collapsed and provided excellent support. They really took a beating and the comfortable grips absorbed all shock. An excellent value for the dollar.

I spent a week at the grand canyon with these poles through about 40 miles of terrain. I tested these bad boys real good and they never slipped once. They are easy to adjust and were very comfortable. I would almost guarantee that by the design of the flick-lock system,they will never slip. I will be keeping these for years and years and maybe giving them to my child in my will.

I use them for my daily walks, about 2 hours. They give you an added benefit with the upper arm motion.the height adjustment took some tests, I was not sure how high they should be.

Bought these based on reviews that I had read about the flicklock system staying secure without any slippage, I'm 6'4" 235lbs and can positively confirm that they were tested many times be me while wearing a 30lb pack and not once did they let me down. I'm sorry it took so long for me buy them.
