The light is strong and the crank is easy to use and durable. However, it doesn't work for cell phone recharging because the adapters don't work with any of the six cell phones we have (Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, Kyocera, etc.) and I haven't been able to find any that will work with it and any one of the phones.
