Comments about GSI Outdoors GSI Outdoors Lexan JavaPress:

A great pot of java while camping is something that many of us desire. This GSI Lexan Java Press is a product that strives to deliver. It does make good "jo", but we immediately encountered problems with this product. The filter does not slide down easily--and almost has to be forced down. The first unit we had actually broke where the handle attached to the filter press. Our replacement unit has the same problem and we anticipate that it will eventually break as well.

This is a great idea that unfortunately needs to be redesigned to be a reliable, useful product.

Comments about GSI Outdoors GSI Outdoors Lexan JavaPress:

This coffee press is larger at the top than at the bottom. The coffee is good, but the filter does not get all the grounds and you tend to have "crunchy" coffee and a lot of sediment in the bottom of the cup. You MUST use coarse grind coffee - not store grind.
