Probably not for the purist where cost is no object, but for the regular joe like me, this is an excellent buy. The quality is very good, compact, reasonably light for stainless ware, and the price was a bargain. If you need to cook and eat while traveling or camping, this is an excellent choice. You can leave out parts you don't need, use the fry pans as dishes, and even put small things in the middle. We use a collapsible steamer with this also so we can steam food. The steamer fits inside when traveling.
