Only time I had any problems was if I kinked hose up when I ran hose through clothing. Also says taste-free drink tube, but it did have a plastic taste too water, don't know if this will go away over time. And you'll need to watch, when out of breathe and thirsty, couple times while sucking water through tube, I got choked on the water.
