I often like to drink warm water or tea, so I feel safe to put warm liquid in my water bottle than the plastic ones. I also feel more comfortable if I leave it in my car knowing the plastic may release the unknown chemical when it is warm or hot...
I feel safer w/ stainless steel than plastic.
