good for backpacking, however 70oz capacity weighs you down...but its great because it will last practically a full day of hiking in the hot sun....if only I hiked on the moon the weight would be less...

Used to replace an old style small mouth reservoir. Old reservoir worked and didn't leak, but it was difficult to both fill and clean. New version eliminated those problems.
