Watch digitally displays time. It can be set in a 12/24 hour format, has five daily alarms, countdown (Yacht) timer with measuring units of one second, and a countdown range of one minute to 60 minutes along with a countdown alarm, progress beeper functions. 1/100 second stopwatch with measuring modes of elapsed time, split time, and 1st and 2nd place times. The stopwatch measuring capacity is 23:59'59.99". This atomic timekeeper function receives time calibration radio signals automatically up to six times a day which keep the displayed time accurate, alsohas a manual receiver function; the signal received for the US is WWVB at a frequency of 60 kHz, UK is MSF at 60 kHz, Germany DCF77 at 77.5 kHz, and Japan JJ40/JJY60. Watch gives world time with 29 time zones (30 cities), displaying city code and a daylight saving on/off function. In addition the watch is water resistant to 660' (200 meters), is low temperature resistant to 14°F (-10°C), and has automatic electro-luminescent backlight illuminating the watch for low light conditions.
The altimeter function measures altitudes from -2,300 to 32,800 ft (-700 to 10,000 meters) in measuring units of 20' (5 meters). Altimeter has an auto memory function with up to 20 logged sets of altitude memory including altitude,month, date and time. The altimeter has a max-altitude memory, relative altitudedisplay and altitude tendency and differential graph and graphic.
If you are planning to go boating, fishing or Scuba diving you will appreciate the tide graph which is based on a combination of preset and user input data giving you vital information on the best time to launch the boat, drop your hook into the water, or jump into the water. With the moon data that allows you to know the moon's age based on current data and user input databy showing a moon phase graph, will tell you when the moon is right for night diving or fishing, or maybe even a romantic moon light cruise!
The Pathfinder also has a built in barometer and thermometer. The barometer has a measuring range of 7.65 inches of mercury (Hg) to 32.45 Hg (260 hectopascals [hPa] to 1,100 hPa), has measuring units of 0.05 inches of mercury (1 hectopascals), with a tendency and differential graph and graphic display of atmospheric pressure. The thermometer has a measuring range of 14 to 140 degreesF (-10 to 60 C) in measuring units of 0.2 F (0.1 C).
You can't get lost when you have your Pathfinder on your wrist with its built incompass. I use this watch everyday and it is great. I especially like the solor power. I have a citizens eco-drive watch and it's great not having to worry about battery replacement. This Pathfinder is much better than my previous 3 sensor model. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

My girlfriend got me this watch as a present for the new hiking / backpacking year. I'll admit, it's a little large, but I have rather large hands, so it fits well. Take the band to a jeweler if you need it adjusted, and they're more than happy to do it, probably for free. The temperature reading is off a bit, but that's because it's so close to your skin. Take the watch off and let it sit for 5 minutes and the temp will then be accurate. The barometric functions are great, and the piece du resistance is the moon phase and tide functions! They are great, and wonderfully accurate! Buy this watch, and you won't go wrong.

Daily use. It has everything I need and more. Very easy to use. Natturally a little bit of a learning curve but very minimal. Everything a watch should be. I can't think of anything else it could have.

Casio's PAW1500-7V is by far the best watch of the pathfinder. Very light weight, has all the funtions for my every day needs.

This watch replaces an earlier model I used for yacht racing which developed a foggy spot. I like the solar/atomic feature- the titanium band looks more business-like. I refer to the baro and tide functions, stopwatch and timer often. It's a big watch- but that's what's showing in the stores. Dr. House wears one on his TV show. It's a useful tool and a conversation piece.

This is obviously one of the best triple sensor watches on the market, unless you want to shell out big bucks for a less rugged Tissot. Honesly, my only concern was that this was a bait and switch. I put in my order, against my better judgement, when the item was out of stock. I promptly recieved emails indicating when it would ship. They were spot on. This company rocks.Now for the watch. After a few minutes with the manual I was pretty comfortable navigating through the screens. I did calibrate the compass and barometer but I can see that I will have to set my starting altitide before I go on a climb. This is to be expected with any instrument that determines altitude from a barometer. I will use my GPS (or a map with alitude) to set the altitude at the beginning of a hike, and then I will use the watch to track gains.The solar power power and atomic time keeping are the best things ever! Never have to set it, never have to break a seal to replace a battery. The titanium band is light, stylish, comfortable, and functional. I thought it might look too rugged to wear at the office, but I actually wear this watch with my suit and it looks fine.Overall great watch. I would never pay 3x as much for the Tissot since it would never take the beating the Pathfinder will. I still can't believe I picked this thing up for [$]
