I went on a 4 day canoe trip in August. If I did not have this seat it would have been back breaking, literally. The chair makes for a comfortable ride! I was able to stuff 4 granola bars, a knife, and a pair of Bino's in the back pouch. It has a strap on the back that you can attach other items to. For example I attached canteens using ALICE clips. This product lost a star because my partners seat starting ripping near the end of the trip (it had taken a beating). The seat also needs to be re-adjusted every few hours, which can be a hassle in a canoe on the water.
