Ken H I am considering this item along with the Helix Poly pants as a base layer while cycling in temps no lower than 40 degrees. There are several positive reviews on the pant but nothing on the shirt and I am curious if the shirt works as well as the pants?
KENNETH K The shirt works well for me as a hiker, but definitely not for too cold weather...
WESLEY A This shirt is great ive had it as a baselayer down to 5 degrees and was fine very comfortable as well
KEITH B I just got back from the U.P. with temp range from 30 - 60. The top performs very well for moisture management and dries very quickly. Terramar always had me iffy because it is not as name popular as some others and tends to be cheaper. Bottom line, buy this product. It is exactly what you would want in a base layer.
RICHARD H I wear this shirt as a single layer under a reflective vest when the temps are above 40 degrees. When the temps tend toward 32, I wear a polyester t-shirt under and wind shirt or sweat shirt over. The shirt performs well for my morning runs. Most important to me, I never feel cold or uncomfortable when I sweat.
DAVID A I wear this top while mountain biking in the cold. You should be fine with that as a base.
RICH Z The shirt does work well, especially for the price. If you do not plan on using it below forty it should be plenty comfortable with perhaps a tshirt under it or over it... I used mine for hiking and will warn you that it did get scratched up fairly easily just brushing by branches and subsequently washing it. Just for biking it should be a good buy though!
