I use my boots for daily walking of my dog and also hiking in the mountains. They are so comfortable and there is no breaking in period, you just put them on and go. One of my last pair did split along the side near the ball of my foot, but it did get some tough treatment, and it is still OK for walking in dry weather it's just not waterproof now. Nothing lasts forever. I would definitely recommend them to any lady who needs a confortable walking/hiking boot.

Wore these boots for a full day of walking/hiking. Only issue was that the high top rubbed blisters on the back of my ankles.
