I wanted a camp blanket for laying around on a cool night and to take on airplane trips. I searched and compared and I am so glad that I bought this "blankie" vs. the Coleman one (and others). You won't be disappointed! Well made, the large covers me nicely--and I'm 6', 250, and it's gonna last a long time. Perfect for watchin' the stars at night and leaning against the window in an airplane and snoozing and being covered. Don't forget your camp pillow.

Thought this would be a good idea for bike touring, unfortunately thermarest cheats the consumer by making this blanket very small. A "regular" size thermarest is fine for me, this thing is way too small. I also own the down blanket, and that "regular" size is fine, thermarest just sized these small because they consider it an economy product. No baffles, no zipper, etc....

I also connect two thermarest mattresses with the quilt coupler, I find that setup works great. But when using two regular thermarest blankets snapped together the setup just doesnt work. You have these big gaps in between the two blankets right down the middle. Its very annoying.

This would be great for kids or small adults, but for a full sized adult, go with the minimum of a size large, and dont even think of connecting two of them for a single blanket, the setup does not work.

Although I haven't camped with it yet, this seems like a very nice blanket. I've snuggled up with it in my chair on a cold winter evening and it's actually much warmer than I had expected. The price here is much less than I've seen in most places.
It's very light weight and comes with the stuff sack attached. Amazingly, I was able to stuff it back into the sack easily, so it's very compact. Not only great for backpacks, but car trunks as well. This will be a much better alternative to me carrying a sleeping bag when the temps are mild.
I think this was modeled after an army blanket that I've seen. Lastly, the material is slick, so it won't pick up dirt, pet hair, etc. like fleece does.
