The specs claim it has some kind ring to support the sides when full of water to prevent the basin from sagging & tending to collapse. The photo on the packaging appears to show such a ring. However, the product has only a braided cable around the rim. The cable helps, but the basin still sags so you need to be careful using it. Still it's a usable, worthwhile product for the [$] clearance price, but don't pay [$].
