SERGE D THey are the equivalent of a men's size 8.5.
STUART B I'm sorry I can't help for a size 9.5. My foot is a size 11.5 and the X-Large size I bought fit perfectly. I'm very happy with these fins.

I am just a customer, so cannot answer your question exactly. But when I bought mine, I went to the Speedo Site and checked which size I would need. I have a 10.5-11 and bought the one that is good for 11-12. Despite this, They are still a bit tight and short... So if you are looking for a 9.5 size, take at least the size that fits 10-11.

my advice is just pick one size bigger than your orginal size.
I end up having two of these fins because the first one was too tight even i chose it according to speedo size sale.
But the best thing to do is trying it in any store before you order it.
but it is good fins for traning any way.
