Pad is comfortable for a side sleeper. No sore hips. Takes a bit for it to fully fill. It is heavy, but well built and will keep the wife/girlfriend happier.

I use this cot for camping in the mountains of WV and traveling to music festivals. The cot is made for someone much larger than me so it is very roomy and super comfortable- perfect for a good night's sleep! This product is pretty heavy and when it is disassembled its still pretty big, but it is really easy to pack into it's bag. The self-inflating mat sleeve is also a little tricky. I really enjoyed having the storage loft under the cot to keep clothes and supplies in while I was out during the day because it keeps everything in one spot and doesn't turn your tent into a pigsty. The Big Lux Cot is a little pricey, but if you can find it for under $115, I think it is well worth it.
