Shopper what is the weight of the paddle. Is it a carbon fiber paddle?
MELINDA G It is somewhat lightweight (I do not know exact ) but NOT carbon fiber. Also if separate parts are not CAREFULLY clicked together, paddle can come apart while in use. This occured with 2 out of 3 of mine!
JONATHAN L The maui paddle is a plastic carbon blend so it's very lightweight but not super sturdy. It's fine for flatwater paddling and light surf. I broke one trying to push it over a beaver dam so I don't use in swamps or whitewater situations.
