Shopper what is the difference between the tahiti classic and the tahiti fish/hunt?
SAMANTHA B Okay, back from rafting and I took both a yellow one like pictured here and the more expensive/more durable orange one. Both brand new. We are also pretty hard on them where we raft as the water is very low in some spots and it's rocky. So I'm pretty sure we sprung a small leak in the side of the tougher orange one but that could just mean we took it over a sharper rock. I preferred the orange one. I don't know if mine are called "fishing/hunting", I doubt that. I think there is a much more expensive option that has canvas covers and if I could afford it I'd go that route. But if your just tooling about on a lake or a non-aggressive river then the yellow one is just fine. I love these kayaks, they are synonymous with fun! Not sure if this was at all helpful but...Good luck!
MONICA L The fish hunt is green, there isnt a difference in ride. Make sure you get the extra piece to steer it, it is very hard to steer in deep water. We use it mostly as a raft now, we bought a hard kayak instead.
SAMANTHA B I'll be better able to answer that question in two weeks. We actually have not busted them out of the box yet, the day is on the calendar. Sorry if you cannot wait, but I'll fill you in then :)
