JOSEPH F Yes the seats are removeable and are inflatable I keep both of mine in so I can pack stuff in front of it so stuff doesn't roll around, worth the money though I think I've used the heck out of mine! Enjoy

JEFF P Hello Shopper, I owned one of these kayaks 25 years ago and loved it! I think the only reason I don't still have that same one is that I caught a large stripped bass and when I was pulling it into the boat I put 3 holes into it from the dorsal fins. Don't try that! About your question... I would easily trust this kayak to float down a river for 100 miles. I wouldn't want to scrape it against a bunch of rocks or the bottom of the river much though. And if you hit a submerged stick I think it would end your trip quickly. I also wouldn't let anything hard like your backpack or tackle box rub the kayak for 100 miles. It is a sturdy kayak, but it is just an inflatable. If you put padding around those items you will be just fine. It will easily hold all the gear you are talking about comfortably. Speaking of comfort, this thing is like laying in a hammock in the water, I love that part too. I wish I could join you guys. Have a great trip! I hope this helped. TAROTMEISTER.CO T I have used the Fish Hunt Sevylor and the Tahiti Classic on many wilderness trips and, as long as you don't try to fit both of you and your gear into one boat, it's a really good boat for your trip. I carried all that you are bringing along with cooking gear, water purification pump, tent, and a folding chair. It carried the load with no trouble at all. BUT space wouldn't allow both of you in one boat with your gear (the gear goes where the second paddler would be). The durability is surprisingly good. Take reasonable care with underwater trees, etc, as you would in any inflatable and the boat just lasts and lasts! Have a great trip!

THOMAS B Its a good kayak I took mine through some rapids on the Delaware. But I think it would be a little tight for two people and camping gear.
