c p Specs say this bag is 28" long - how much of that is usable length? Will it hold a 26" sleeping pad? How much length do I loose in the roll close top?
Thanks
CARRIE ANN S There is 28" usable length. The bag is several inches longer than that when unrolled (34" from bottom to opening when unrolled).
BARBARA T The full 26" sleeping pad will not fit correctly unless it is folded. The sack must be folded a couple of times if used correctly.
JOSEF J Will not.
28? include strip on top, and you need at least 3 roll for some water barrier. For each roll count ?1?. I purchased this one, for my sleeping bag to find, it?s too narrow to push bag in. I?m using this bag for soft spare clothing on my hike trips to keep it dry.
MICHAEL P I dont have my measureing tape on me but it will lose about 3-4 inches rolled closed but looks over 2ft useable space. Its the real deal, it will last a long time. it is more narrow then the military issue stuff sack, but longer and better quality. Its a bag that will come in handy and you will find a usefor it, it goes with me on all trips.
JOHANN S P not sure how to answer this question.
it seems to me it would not work.
LELAND F I'm not sure of exact dimensions but I'm able to fit a one person tent (fly, footprint and dome) a 0" sleeping bag and a thermarest sleeping pad into the 30l model. I'm able to compress it to a point where it can fit easily into my backpack with room to spare.
