Got this tent earlier this year. Have gone on about 6 trips with it so far. I have mixed feelings about this tent. It doesnt really fit in any category well. A bit to heavy for backpacking, and to small for car camping. At this weight you could carry a 3 person tent. There are much lighter tents for less that still have a decent sized vestibule. As far as performance goes. This is where I found it suffered. During showers rain pooled on top of the tent even with constant adjusting of guy lines. I had water come though and soak my sleeping bag. Made for a really uncomfortable night. Plus I had to run out into the rain to tighten up the guy lines. Maybe the big vestibule is so u can dry off after having to crawl outside into the rain to try and stop the water from pooling on top of the tent. Tent ventilates ok, but just ok. Iv used other tents that ventilated much better. This tent is more suited for 1 person, than 2. My wife stayed in it with me a couple nights and she is only 5'4" 110. I am 5'10" 160. It was cramped without any gear inside. Overall I would not recommend this tent. There are much lighter and cheaper options out there that provide adequate vestibule space, better rain protection, and better ventilation.

Easy and fast to set up and take down.
Great space inside considering its size.
The fly is waterproof and water repellent.
But the fly gets humid and wet on the inside in heavy rain due to water penetration.
However, this water dries out very fast as soon as the rain stops, and even faster (~20-30 min) if there is sun and/or wind blowing.
Considering the tent's price-quality ratio, it is unbeatable!

The tent has a quick setup. It is made of a lightweight mesh with a bathtub flooring. 4 gear pockets located towards the door on the inside. They are wonderful. Unless you are a heavy hiking gear junkie I see no need for the gearloft on this tent. It is not entirely freestanding as you do have to stake the fly down on this tent. The vestibule is obviously the seller on this one. It's huge and I love it. I have been stuck in storms where cooking became a huge issue with a small vestibule. Not anymore.
The tent has held up in the rain and high winds with no issues at all. I haven't had any condensation issue yet either. Use your guylines and this tent is a tank. Only downside is the weight. It's a couple of pounds heavier than I would like due to the fly. IMO it's worth it's weight though on this one. It's a great all around tent for me. Also to note item shipped super fast and I had great service dealing with Sunny Sports sales reps...I am usually sketchy about online retailers and as it turns out I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire transaction.

Most complaints about this tent come from those who do not familiarize themselves well enough with it before depending on it. The included instructions are not great, but if set up and tensioned properly it is a great tent for many different weather conditions. I use this tent for backpacking, it is large and comfortable and worth carrying every ounce.
