Shopper This pack says it adjusts to fit various torso sizes, but gives no measurement. Do you have any idea of the torso size range? My son measures about 14 inches and I want to make sure it fits someone that small.
SHAILESH J The pack adjusts from 37 cm to 46 cm (about 14.57 inches to 18.11 inches). It might be a tad long for your son. The advantage is that he can grow into it. The waist belt and shoulder belt length are equally important for a good fit. I suggest going to a local store to try it out first. Hope this helps.

The range on the pack is from 15 to 18. My son is 5' 6" and the pack is a perfect fit. It is set on 17. The pack is well made and quite comfortable. It's used nearly every month camping with the Boyscouts.
BRETT W my girlfriend bought this pack and loves it. we found it for about 60 bucks on this site (sale). Not sure about size in inches but shes 5'4 and petite so I think it would work for your son. Great pack for a younger people and women I would say. PEACE, Mom.
MICHELLE M The specifications for this backpack say it fits a torso range of 15 to 18 inches. Make sure you're measuring your son's torso length correctly. You can find instructions on various websites, but basically it's from the bony bump at the base of the neck (7th vertabrae) to where the thumbs are when you put your hands on your hips. This has been a great backpack for my son, who is very small for his age and needed a large enough pack for multi-day backpacking trips with his Boy Scout troop.
