ROY H No you can't take the back panel out but its thin and very flexible.
I wasnt sure if I would ike it because of the back panel but it dosent bother me anyore.
WARREN W The back panel doesn't come out. It is not the thick padding anyway
NORBERT Y Mine doesn't appear to have a removable back panel, just a couple of sewn-in vertical strips of foam padding.
