Shopper Does the laptop compartment have a buckle or is it a sleeve to place the laptop in?
YERO H there's a sleeve but its a really tight sleeve so the lap top wont fall out. and also there's like a cushion at the bottom of the laptop compartment so the side of the laptop wont be smashed when you set down the backpack.
PHILISA S I believe it is a sleeve. I bought the backpack for my 9th grade daughter and really didn't pay attention to the laptop portion since she rarely carries a laptop to school. I think it was an excellent purchase for overall durability.
UNIVERSITYLEASI I It has a segmented sleeve or compartment in the back to keep the computer separate from your other stored items. It is not removable.
FEDERICA S It has a sleeve but this is big enough to hold my 15" laptop! The sleeve is quite deep too so your computer is tight in there, and you still have a lot of room for many more things :)
