Seam Ripped After Only 2-3 Wears

Loved the look and cozy feel of the jacket but surprised when the bottom seam of the jacket ripped after my 10-year-old daughter had worn it only 2-3 times. Wanted to exchange it (assuming that the jacket was simply defective) but Sunny Sports would not accept the return, directing me to the manufacturer's lengthy and indirect warranty system instead. Frustrated!
