Shopper How is the fit? Looking to purchase for an eight year old; he's tall and slim and I want it for next winter too.
MISTY P Awesome coat! Runs small, so go up a size. My 4 year old wears the 7-8! He is tall and thin as well. He will wear it next year as well.

This jacket is very nice and worth the money it runs a little on the small side so order one size up.
My son is 6 years old he's tall and slim with long arms. His wear a size 6-7 in clothes so I brought size medium (10-12 )and it's a perfect fit with enough room to wear next winter. My 4 yr old grandson has one also size xsmall (6) and he wears a size 4 in clothes.

LAH P My son is 4yrs old and is also very slim and tall. I ordered the 5/6. It fits him good and still has room to grow into it. I usually put a sweater on him when he wears it so it doesn't look so big because he's so slender.
MICHELLE S I recently purchased this jacket for my son who is 12 and on the small side and slim. He wears a 12 in clothing and is 56.5 inches tall, but I purchased the jacket in large which is a 14/16. I wanted to get 2 years out of it. I was worried it might be too large and look silly, but it looks great. It is a little big and I am sure I will get next year also, unless he grows like crazy.
INSOON K I think it runs a little small to size.
I suggest you should buy one size up.

DYLAN K I bought a large for my 8 year old son, who is also tall and slim. It's a bit big in the shoulders, but will be perfect for next winter. I would not go smaller for sure.
