VANESSA C The boots are warm and very comfortable. They are not water proof.
DUSTIN I These are not waterproof but they are water resistant. There is some rubber on the outside sole of the boot for one or two inches of snow/rain but would not recommend for any other conditions. Keeps my feet warm without them sweating, sorry not sure of the rating. The lining is filled with down. Very comfortable like wearing slippers. Love to slip these on for running quick errands.

SUE S I have been using these to shovel my long driveway. They seem to be waterproof and the temparture has been 20 degrees and lower and my feet have been warm. I really like these boots!
ALLIEN W According to the product description on North Face's site, they are have a "durable water repellent finish" and have 600 fill power down insulation. They are very warm, but I wouldn't call them waterPROOF, probably just water repellent per above. Hope this helps!
